Plain and simple. UK is +35 wins (as of 3/19/07) over UNC as of right now. Do you think with the state of both programs UNC will take over the #1 spot with in the next few years?

In the next few years? Not likely. With a 35 game lead, there would have to be a complete meltdown. NC only won seven more games than KY this year... which is a lot, but, even with this huge gap, it would be seven years before UNC passes KY.

UK will be the first to 2000 wins, but UNC and probalby KU will both pass UK in the next 12 years.

KU might do it first since they play in the Big 12 North.

Yeah I see it coming if Kentucky cannot recute good high school players. UNC seem to be able to get attendtion of better players. I play basketball at my school and i've seen some UNC recuters before. But never UK. Heh seems like UNC is trying to take local players away from UK because i live in Cincy, Ohio. (10 mins from Kentucky)

If UK plays as bad as they have been playing (at least, worse than they've done in years past) and UNC does as good as they have been doing, I think there is a very good chance that UNC passes UK.
