Let's not confuse Kobe Bryant the person with Kobe Bryant the player. As a player Kobe is by far one of the most gifted individuals in the NBA and seems to make some of the most amazing plays that I've ever seen in all my years of following the NBA. However his attitude on the court does hinder his performance somewhat but all in all he is the best all around 2 guard in the league. He just needs an attitude adjustment. So yes Kobe is THAT good but he could be even better if he changes his personality.

No, I saw in the paper again that he took 35 shots and made 17. The next highest shot total was Lamar Odom with 12 shots taken. I think it's ridiculous that he's taking 3 times as many shots as any of his teammates. Anybody could score 50 points if they shot the ball 35 times. Nobody else in the NBA shoots the ball as much as Kobe. Not even Allen Iverson shot the ball that much when he was with the Sixers. To win in the playoffs he's gonna have to spread the wealth. If they play someone that actually plays defense on him like Ginobili, they'll pressure him into missing shots and they'll never win.

As sad as it is to say...yes, he is really that good. It's pretty clear he's the best player in the NBA right now, whether or not people want to admit it.

As much as people want to make an argument for Lebron and D-Wade, as yourself honestly, can they take over a game like Kobe? No, they can't. Kobe is also a much better defender than both of them. Personally, I would like to say the best player right now is T-Mac. But its clearly Kobe.

Yea, its true that his personality, ball hogger mentality and action at times are questionable. But that shouldn't take away from his gifted bball talents.

I'm not a Kobe fan, but I got to admit it.

Of course he is. Don't you watch his game. No one int he NBA RIGHT now can do what he has done. Maybe in the future. But Kobe is one of the greatest player who ever played the hard court.

Kobe is good, but he's a selfish punk and a thug. Someone needs to give him a forearm shiver to the thorax next time he drives the lane. I can't stand him.
