I always read questions and answers in here saying that girls are just as good, or even better at basketball than guys. My question is, if girls are so good at basketball, then why did they have to make their own league, the WNBA? If they are so talented why can't they play on the same teams and against the men?

The official NBA ruling states that a player must "lose control" of the basketball and that another player must touch the basketball in order for the original player to regain his dribble. I vaguely remember seeing players such as Pippen employ such tactics in the past but don't know if it is still legal now.

Shaq: 3 championships/ 3MVPs, league MVP, scoring title, most dominant ever, true ambassador, liked by all, nice to kids (anyone read the story about him asking where the handicapped ballboy was? the kid was laid off so shaq paid the kids salary and paid for someone to drive him to work... now THAT's A true star who notices the little people. I think it's Steve Nash because he can dish it better than anyone and he can pull up a trey. Mr. Impossible is Nothing (Gilbert Arenas) and Kobe are good, but what do you think?

We're witnessing basketball greatness right now, and it is so frustrating to see so many people dismissing Kobe. Is it because of the rape trial (of which he was never found guilty)? Is it because Shaq and Kobe BOTH had big egos, but since Kobe stayed in town, he got the blame? Is it because people simply can't handle the fact that Kobe is getting close (if not already) on pace to- AT LEAST- equal the scoring prowess of MJ?
Kobe has, by his own concession, made some mistakes- but he shouldn't be perpetually condemned by the casual basketball fan for his personal flaws. Just look at what he does on the court!!! This is a man who scored 81 points and scored 65 and 50 in consecutive games. Why can't people appreciate a true master of the craft? Also, Kobe is maturing, even the coach who said he was "uncoachable" has a good relationship with him now. MJ, in his last season with bulls, averaged just 3 assists, but Kobe is averaging almost 6 and he's still a "ball-hog". RECOGNIZE!

I'd say ppl don't like kobe b/c he's a liar, cheater, racist elbower, arrogant, selfish, conceited, prideful, rather score 50 than win, run shaq (and the dynasty out), dirty, little 28 yr old kid who has the most fragile ego ever. Here's an article I found on the guy:

But it also reminds the world that when the game is on the line — whether it’s the game of basketball or life — Kobe is all about Kobe. And this shows everybody that kobe is not only the most selfish NBA player, he's also the dumbest.

Krzyzewski is way better. And oh yeah, I expect a lot of answers about how Krzyzewski is not an honrable coach and person. That is a load of BULL!! Krzyzewski, although hated amoung ani-Duke fans, is one of the most respected figure in college sports. I know Roy Williams is a great coach and person too, but Krzyzewski is a much better coach, and has been able to stay with one team for a long time.

I think it's Noah. He has inflated stats because Horford creates openings for Noah on offense. Noah needs a haircut. He is cocky and he's a one dimenional player.

I AM from KY and am a UK fan, not just one of those "blame the coach because we weren't the better team" fans. BAck the team and quit bashing the coach! NOt all the Ky fans do but ALOT do. THis is hard to listen to as a UK fan. (Duke fan too, if that's possible.) Duke is hated because they beat teams like UK.

ill start with mine. I think coach k from duke is probably the best. He has 3 national titles not many coaches now have 3. He has also won back to back titles not many coaches can say they've done that too. Coach K has lead duke to be a dangerous team. He usually has one of the top recruiting class year after year. He got duke's point guard greg paulus an all american quarterback and point guard to commit to them and decide not to play football. 27 seasons at a school must mean that whatever he does its working. I think coach k is the most intelligent coach. Even though they had a depressing season not many or very very few couldv'e done any better with 2 upperclassmen 1 never plays and no go to player.

hell no. as i always say get real clowns. the suns, mavs, spurs, nuggets, warriors, rockets, and jazz , will roll them up and smoke them. kobe is shooting non stop. there is no way he can keep his lucky spree up. you know he is going to try to because how selfish he is. i wnat him to do soemthing againts a good team . not going to happen
