Who do you think is the most overrated NBA player?

For me I think it's (i hate to say it) lebron james, sure he can do crazy dunks, but he's too inconsistent...

Wade (too many trips to the line, and can't stay standing)

For everyone that says Kobe hasn't won a title without Shaq, Shaq won 0 titles until he got Kobe and Phil, then won in the 2nd year with Wade and Pat Riley.

Iverson is a thug who is the biggest ball hog around. Melo is a pot-head with lots of commercials and no rings.

But the most over rated player in the whole league is Ron Artest! I live in the Sacto area, and this guy is a total loser.

Everyone that says Kobe has no idea what they are talking about...they cannot give any valid reasons why he is overrated, all they say is that he is a bad teammate and a poor leader. But who does he have to pass to on that squad? Kobe averages over 6 assists per game and I can garuntee that Steve Nash would average no more than 8 with that same team. Put Kobe with Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire, Boris Diaw, and Leandro Barbosa I will assure you that Kobe averages a triple double or very close to one.

and about Dwyane Wade, yes most overated player in the NBA right now, wait 2 years when Shaq, Alonzo, Gary Payton, James Posey, Eddie Jones, and Antoine Walker are all retired, and the Heat will win the lottery every year until Dwade leaves the League.

First and formost, the most overrated player is Lebron James. The second most ovverated player is Kobe probably. Kobe is a tough choice, but he only won with Shaq around.

Ok, now you dorks who answered this question, I am a big Pistons fan, and Dirk Nowitzki is NOT OVVERATED. The man is incredible. Also, Dwayne Wade is not ovverated.

dwyane wade or maybe i should say d-whistle. about a third of his points come from the FT line and more than half of the time he doesnt deserve the foul. the refs kiss his @ss, he took 97 FTs against the mavs in the final. that is unreal. refs rarely call anything on wade unless its blatantly obvious, otherwise wade will continue to go to the FT line. breathe on wade get a foul, touch a hair and get a foul. have him jump into you and get a foul. sure he is a good player, but he gets too many cheap calls.

I'd have to say that Dwayne Wade is overrated...he's on all these commercials for all these different things, but he wouldn't have a championship if it weren't for Shaq.

Kobe is close to Wade I'd say, but he's a way better player than Wade.

Gilbert Arenas, He thinks hes the best that ever lived, and if anyone disagrees with that he takes it out on them. he got cut from the olympic team even though he was injured, who would take an injured person over someone who is healthy, but he takes it out on the olympic team coaches(and for one of those games he promised 50 or so points and barely scored double digits, and blames it on his coach) hes an average player, who just blames his problems on the world and gets publicity for it

d-wade anybody can average 30 pts a game if they get to the line 25 times
