The only three higher-seeded teams I'm certain will advance to the Elite Eight are Florida, Kansas, and North Carolina. The team most likely to fall in the Sweet Sixteen happens to be one of my favorites.

Ohio State eked out a win over Xavier, in overtime. During the regular season, the Buckeyes barely survived Tennessee after the Vols had outplayed them for 37 or 38 minutes. In Columbus. Tennessee comes into this game--on a neutral site--confident they can beat Ohio State. Ohio State comes into this Sweet Sixteen matchup with their confidence shaken: they barely got by the #9 seed, and now they're facing the team that nearly beat them at home, not long ago. I hope I'm wrong ... but I think Tennessee wins this game.

Texas A&M will upset Memphis, but when the #3 seed beats the #2 seed, or when the #9 seed beats the #8, it's hardly an "upset." Texas A&M has arguably the best point guard in the nation in Acie Law, and his Aggies are athletic enough to run with Memphis. When the game slows down, though--and it will--A&M will execute better on both ends of the court.

Enjoy the games.

I am not saying this is going to happen, but I think that UNC could potentially be upset by USC and also watch for Tennesse pulling off the upset against Ohio State. Ohio State barely managed to slip by Xavier, but Tennesse won't give the game away. The game was close when the two teams played earlier in the season, so look for another close call for the Buckeyes.

Well, with so many high seeds (7th as the lowest seed is rediculous) I'm not sure how many UPSETS there really are. I guess I'd say that it's entirely possible that USC could beat the Heels, and Tenn could beat OSU (they have looked thoroughly unimpressive so far). However, once you get in with the top three seeds, I don't really think you can call it an upset.

Pitt over UCLA. Tenn. over OSU. And Butler over Florida. Texas A&M over Memphis.

UCLA will have a tough time with the hot Pitt team right now. And UCLA will not have a strong play and Pitt. wins it. OSU almost lost to Xavier, showing that they are still a young team, and their leader Oden is still a rookie here. They will not be able to keep up with Tenn. and will lose a hard one. Florida either shows up or doesn't, and last week was a bad week when they got lucky over Purdue. They will lose control and attention and will get upset by Butler in OT. Memphis is definately overrated, and will not even be able to keep up with A&M. They will show they were not worth the #2 spot, and lose.

Well the only way UNLV could be surprised is if they win, but Oregon will have lots to say about that. USC could give UNC all they can handle, but I doubt that Pitt will topple UCLA on Thursday. In fact believe that the Bruins will upset Kansas should they defeat So. Illinois, and look for UCLA to be in the final four.

I think Tennessee could beat Ohio State if Chris Lofton shoots better than he did against Virginia. OSU barely squeaked by Xavier.

Butler will beat Florida because they've shown nothing special and Lofton is going to lead Tennessee past OSU

if Florida plays the way it has at times this year I believe Butler has a great chance at knocking them off..Tennessee can also send Ohio St packing if they're on..Ohio St not as good as people think and the Vols almost beat them at Ohio St earlier this year despite not playing half as well on the road as at home.

In my bracket, I went out on a limb and picked Vanderbilt to beat Georgetown. No reason, really, just a hunch.

Ohio State isn't looking very good...I think they can lose if Tennessee plays good. Memphis could also lose because they don't have their best player.
