What do you miss? I miss seeing Joba in the eighth striking out the side with two 95+ fastballs combined with the best slider in the game. April can't come fast enough.

Why did the media not give as much attention to Marion Jones? She was just as dominant in her sport and she admitted steroid use?

Some people play the race card and say it's because Barry Bonds is Black, but so is Marion Jones. So why is it that Barry is the favorite "pick-on" by the media?

I heard on ESPN from one of the analyst that you know if football ppl can loose weight and gain weight within 2 years of 50lbs or more. Just its what you eat and your workout method. But there is still something about it you have to think about! Barry Bonds was tiny and got huge within like 2 years and was proven to taken suppliments and hit all those HR's and Arod is the same way and also when he was in that interview he stumbled when they asked him the question if he ever taken them... Crazy huh! Baseball is an awesome sport but becoming to be an embarrassment. Isn't baseball suppose to be the backbone of sports! Oldest sport played in America. I believe that Arod has been takin them just hasn't been tested! Thats just my opinion, Whats yours!

I'm a d-back fan. I think the Haren trade was great, because we got him for the prospects we didn't need. I didn;t the valverde trade as much.

It's well known that any starting pitcher cannot pitch at full velocity for all pitches. If he does so, he doesn't last 5-7 innings. If a winning of the game is the ultimate goal, and if we ignore the ego of the starting pitcher, isn't it better to replace Starting pitcher with many many reliever/closers? Or did a team like Oakland A's try this before?

Is it just me or did he release a statement that said "I want to state clearly and without qualification: I did not take steroids".
Soooo does that mean that he WANTS to state that but at this point he can't. Why can't he?

You can read the beginning of his column decrying the mitchell report on espn.com. It is not mentioned anyplace in that column that he was the ghostwriter for Roger Clemens autobiography.

This guy will do anything to get the attention back on him and the Hall of Fame. He'll use any platform, and any situation that occurs in the game to make what he did seem not so terrible.

"I never thought anybody would make me look like an altar boy. I've been suspended 18 years for betting on my own team to win," he added. "I was wrong ... but these guys today, if the allegations are true, they're making a mockery of the game."

Is this guy serious? He's REALLY grasping at straws now.

For members of Red Sox nation out there, I need your help. I am from Minnesota and only get to see the Red Sox play on ESPN, WGN (when they play Chicago), or FSN (Twins network), or on Fox Saturday baseball. This totals about 20 times that I get to watch the Red Sox every summer. It's not enough. What can I do to watch EVERY Red Sox game? If I selected the MLB Extra Innings cable package, would this allow me to watch every Red Sox game? Please help!

Who used steroids before the implementation of the drug testing program in 2002 or HGH before it was included in the testing program in 2005? Do you believe that players had a moral obligation or, at least, owed it to their teammates and fans not to use drugs even though there was nothing in place to stop them?

the on-going steroid allegations the past 5 years, players like Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Sosa and Palmeiro, who were all Hall of Fame locks in my opinion, don't you think that a player like Dale Murphy is starting to look a lot better as a potential Hall of Famer? This guy was/is a mormon and was a non-user, non-drinker, just a clean living guy who played in the majors from 1976-1993 with the Braves (76-90), Phillies (90-92) and Rockies (93). In 2,180 Games, he had 7,960 At Bats, 2,111 hits, 350 DB's, 39 3B's, 398 HR's, 1,197 Runs, 1,266 RBI's, and a .265 BA, .346 OBP, .469 SLG% and a lot of strikeouts with 1,748.

Murphy was a 2 time NL MVP in 1982 & 1983 and a 7 time all star. 5 Time Gold Glove winner in the OF, and many more awards. Why is this guy not in the Hall of Fame? Can someone please explain this to me? He was a clean, hard-nosed player who was dominant throughout the 80's, let Murph in already, especially with all the crooks/cheaters playing today.
