For members of Red Sox nation out there, I need your help. I am from Minnesota and only get to see the Red Sox play on ESPN, WGN (when they play Chicago), or FSN (Twins network), or on Fox Saturday baseball. This totals about 20 times that I get to watch the Red Sox every summer. It's not enough. What can I do to watch EVERY Red Sox game? If I selected the MLB Extra Innings cable package, would this allow me to watch every Red Sox game? Please help!

There is an option in the MLB Extra innings package to follow a specific team for every single game. You just need to ask for it.

Another option is to call your cable company and add NESN for like $30. They carry every game that ESPN and Fox do not. You would also get a few Celtics games and Bruins games (if you're a basketball or hockey fan as well).

Either way should work. Good luck and GO SOX!

If you're in a metropolitan area, research a sports bar that has multiple televisions. I'm a Sox fan who's lived all over the country and never have had any problem finding a game or a shortage of people there to watch it with. Good luck!

I have the Extra Innings, and 90% of the time I am able to watch the games on NESN or some other channel affiliated with the team there playing against.

Its not cheap tho, my bill goes from $99 to about $160 from April-through the end of September.

the extra inninigs package would allow you to watch any game in the mlb except for local blackout games and national games. So depending on your zip code whenever the sox play the twins you will have to watch the local coverage. also if you are intrested you can go to mlb.tv and sign up their and watch all the games on your computer but the same blackout policy applys.

Thats kind of expensive isn't it? I'd go to redsox.com to see what they have for TV options. You may just be able to watch it on your computer for free or next to free compared to the cable package... Then if your computer is close enough, output the video and sound to your TV....

the purpose of mlb extra innings is to allow you to watch out of market games for your team.
which allows you to view a variety of teams and games
