Not a Braves fan, but I know that John Rocker is a moron. I don't like the guy, but he probably did take the 7 train. He also admitted to taking HGH. It is amazing that he is still alive after all these years, and I am sure that people who he mentioned that he didn't like for example: New Yorkers, Met fans (understandable), foreigners, people who take the 7 train, single mothers, Black people, etc. still hate him today as much as they did years ago. On top of that, he said that he went through more stuff than Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron. If that was the case, Rocker would be crapping on himself. He wouldn't know what to do. He deserved the hostility he got. If he was smart, why couldn't he just save himself some time, and say that he doesn't like anybody. He can save time, get his point across, and most importantly, he wouldn't look like a racist, bigoted, moron.

Yea I know what he said and what was taken out of context. In Rocker's second year in Atl. I was waiting with my little brother after a game so he could try to get some autographs. Only one stopped to write their name on a ball for a 6 year old kid, only John Rocker. He sat and talked with us for almost an hour. He is not an idiot. He may have said some dumb things but he is no idiot.

Rocker had, or still has, some serious mental issues, but none of that came from steroid use, he's had them from birth....
What the guy did in New York during the 1999 NLCS was horrible, and the Braves exhibited a great lack of credibility by permitting him to wear their uniform.

Ignoring his famous quotes, I always loved the way he bolted out of the bullpen. It really lit up the crowd. Pitchers are always so cool and collected. Then this spaz comes flying out of the BP.
No other pitcher does that in MLB...except Derrick Turnbow...also on the list. Maybe we should suspect hustle as a symptom of steroid use!

I remember the guy for his visit on the New York subway station and the comments that ensued. Definitely not appropriate for Yahoo Answers!

The steroids gave him a competitive advantage when playing baseball but he is crazy all on his own.
