does anyone think that the higher ups in the giants or the organization. Realize that barry would be up for his steoid indictments(or are we now calling it performance-enhancing drugs?)
Does and one else besides me think that is the real reason that they chose NOT to renew his contract? So they would not be tied in to the current mess that he has brought on it.

Just wondering about this. all coments welcomed.

Right now only members of the BBWWA can vote for HOF choices made from nominations by a 6 member committee of the BBWWA. That seems a very elitest group making big decisions. After all, they have kept Bert Blyleven out and voted in people like Jim Bunning. Dan Mattingly won't be in b/c of a shortened career but Dizzy Dean is? Mark McGuire won't make it b/c of 'suspected' steroid use & Tim Raines will probably make it in even though he admitted cocaine use early in his career?

So should both the nominating each year & the voting be made public similar to how the All-Star game is? Or do you have an even better &/or more fair system in mind? Or do we just keep it as is? I want to know what you think.

That way, the achievements of Clemens, Bonds, Sheffield, Giambi, Justice, Pettitte, Palmeiro, Canseco, et. al., can still be recognized while not tarnishing the legacies of the players who achieved greatness through hard work and talent rather than chemical enhancement.

What do you think?

How much would you pay to visit the Steriod Hall of Anabolic Major-league Excellence (SHAME)?

Did Papelbon just leave the ball laying on the floor so his stupid dog could get it? I think it is terrible for baseball and history and I would be so pissed if I were the Red Sox. What do you think?

There was about an 8 year period where he was a top hitter. He's a 5 time all-star, 4 time gold glove winner and holds quite a few post season records.

Another "what if" question....

IF he had played another 4 years or so, he probably would have gotten near the 3,000 hit mark. He would definitely have over 300 home runs. But, his career average probably would have dropped a few points.

If this had happened, do you think he would have a chance at the hall?

Schilling calls out Bonds to return the MVPs and all that. Now he's calling out Clemens to return Cy Youngs. Why doesn't Schilling mind his own business and just pitch?

What do you think? Should the cheaters give back their ill gotten awards, or do we leave the past behind us and just move forward... Or should schiling just shut the hell up for a change and keep his opinions to himself. I completely agree with him and to be honest, I love when he runs his mouth, it's his right, right?

I have been to most of the Stadiums and have had varying levels of experiences at the different Stadiums. Some give you a great feeling of home, some are better for entertaining the non-Baseball fan, others have that nostalgic feeling that everyone wishes their stadium felt like. What are your experiences!

In the 2007 M.L.B. season, there was a team that went 87-57 against the American League, and another team that went 84-60 against the American League.

Can you name these 2 teams, and which team had which one of these records?

Just so he'll get off his high horse and shut the hell up?I'm tired of his constant whining and passing judgment upon other players. Schillings a big mouth who acts as if he has never done anything wrong. How great would it be if he ended up with a positive drug test???

Curt Schilling called on Roger Clemens to give up the four Cy Young Awards he's won since 1997 if he can't clear his name from allegations that he used steroids to prolong and enhance his career.
Who thinks that schilling is right on with this statement. Remember he called out Bonds too.
