Clemens will play for the Astros in 2008, Bonds for the A's, it will be the final year for both. Both will eventually make the Hall of Fame, but it will take awhile, maybe 3 or 4 tries each.

Neither will play pro ball again. Bonds will not make the Hall, ever. Clemens, barring proof that he took steroids, may get "punished" by not getting in the first time he's eligible, but will make it. Just remember: It's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Honorable Men. Even if Clemens is innocent, he's still a (fill in the insult of your choice, profane or otherwise).

Clemens had a press conference in houston the other day and it didnt sound like he was going to play again. which he shouldnt. thats all he needs it 40,000 people telling him hes a cheater. i wouldnt do it. if bonds comes back he will be the designated hitter for the A;s he will still be in the bay area it is the best fit for him. if clemens were to come back which he wont you can bet on that. he would play for the yankees. they will both be invited to the hall of fame. Bonds said if marc echo is allowed to put the ball with the asterisk on it in the hall of fame then bonds does not want to be in. which i agree with.

Clemens will definetely come back and play with the Houston Astros as a player/coach and barry will maybe come back as a designated hitter. That would be my guess.

I don't believe either will play in 2008. I don't believe either will be banned from consideration for the HOF but I don't think either will have enough support to go on the first ballot five years after they retire. They very likely could make it ten years down stream after all of this settles down.
