As I was watching the Cubs game last night I was pondering this question.
What does the "C" on the cap, or the other logos for that mater, stand for, Cubs or Chicago?
I know that it could mean either one, but I'm sure that when the cap was designed there was one or the other in mind.

Oh...and...GO CUBS!!

phoenix fans dont understand this is baseball, not a football game

yet they all act like idiots, theyre rude, they dont understand the game except for a homer when they set off thier cannon (boom boom), and need the jumbo-tron to tell them when to make some noise - i sure hope the cubs shut em up good tonite and the next 2 games at wrigley

I know Florida beat OSU in the championship for both football and basketball, but no other Florida sports team is playing that great. The Columbus destroyers lost the AFL championship. The Cavs lost the championship. Now the Indians are in the post season and the Browns are even playing better than expected. I know that Ohio hasent won anything this year, but has sent all their teams to the big dance so far. Your thoughts?

Channel 17 has been in Atlanta for many years. I was looking forward to seeing the baseball playoffs, but now theres some station called Peachtree TV which shows old sitcoms all day none of which I like. I am disappointed that loyal Atlanta viewers of WTBS have been snubbed and can't see the baseball playoffs. The national feed is blocked to Georgia viewers on satellite and I don't live in an area that has cable. Why did they do this?

I can never understand why managers want to "save" a pitcher when it's basically do or die in the playoffs.

Pinella was off his game last night.

I think C.C. won't win today. He is facing a grat yankees lineup. He is also going against Wang who is just as good as Sabathia.

Why does Josh Beckett wear a cowbell rope around his neck? I mean, that rope has to be as thick as a medium size garden snake.

Good arguments for each - Hooliday certainly seems to have the edge if you look at the tradtional criteria of great triple crown category numbers. Plus he had a great September. Usisually, if that guy's team makes the playoffs, he's a lock.

Rollins' case is a little more unconventional. The arguments for him include looking at things like 30 HRs and 96 RBI from the leadoff position, his hits & stolen bases & total bases, his leadership, and the fact that he does it all as a great-fielding shortstop.

So who do you give the edge to?

Fenway is to the Angels what Boston Garden used to be to the Lakers. Where Los Angeles playoff dreams come to die.

They own the Angels there. and will play the Angels there.

The Angels have beaten the Yankees in every series since Siocia took the helm in Anahiem.

So what is the record in Yankees / Indians head to head competition?

Close up shots last night of Carlos Zambrano appear to show signs of some serious crazy psychosis or something..... spit and slobber and all kinds of stuff on his face... what is up wit dat?

He may be able to play baseball, but he just looks crazy as a bedbug!!

Do you think he will eventually just go completely off the deep end and ruin his career?

It sucks not watching baseball in HD

2007-10-04 02:21:01 · 5 answers · asked by Chris 2

It's official . This is the worst coverage I have ever seen in my life of any professional, college or even high school sport. I had friends over to watch the Red Sox lose last night (wishful thinking) and we were all puking while watching the game, and it had nothing to do with Ortiz hitting that bomb or my friend who kept releasing air treats after eating tacos. We ended up missing the first out at least a half a dozen times because TBS was at commercial. It seemed like you could hear a mouse fart in Fenway and I know that's one of the loudest parks in baseball. Did they have mics anywhere? The announcers made me think of death - they're not far from it. Arizona vs. Chicago was completely different. That at least resembled a professional sport. So are you still a fan of TBS? Are you starting to miss Fox and ESPN right about now?
