Way too early to predict that.

I'll give them pretty good odds to win the NL and get to the World Series, but I don't know if they can win it all.
I think they will beat Philly, because although both teams can slug, the Rockies have better pitching. They should be able to beat either the D-backs or Cubs in the next round, because they've played well against the D-backs all year (and if they end up playing the Cubs, I think they'll win just cause its the Cubs).
I won't even try to call the World Series yet because its way too early. I do like their chances though.

Every baseball fan that does not have their favorite team in the playoffs should be pulling for the Rockies to win it all. They have the third lowest team payroll ($41 million) and only Tampa Bay and Florida are behind them in all of MLB. I would love to see the Rockies win it all and show all the other owners that it is not always about money when it comes to winning, and you can actually win with low priced players who want to win and good management, Go Rockies!! from this Dodgers fan.

I say yes.. but I am biased. After watching them since day 1 12 years ago we finally have a 'real' baseball team. Everybody here used to say the Rockies are the best Minor League team in the world. The newspapers just ripped them every day. But after they swept the Yankees in June people
here kind of woke up. Now everybody in Denver is on the Rockies bandwagon. Possible MVP (Holliday already won the batting average title AND the RBI title.. yeah yeah the ump said he touched the plate) and Rookie of the Year, and the second highest scoring team in the NL AND nearly all the players came up from the Rockies minor league teams.
It was great to see the looks on those rude, nasty fans' faces in Philly after they got owned yesterday.
For us hardcores it is pretty satisfying- Rocktober his here!

The Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Diego Padres are the two very stable communities and can have placed up a extra appropriate combat than the Angels did against the crimson Sox. The Rockies relatively relatively have faith in themselves and that i'm extraordinarily specific they'll decide the thank you to get the hits had to win. i do no longer anticipate a "rusty" team to show up in the AL park next week - i think of they are able to-do-it and win the international sequence - even consistent with probability pass 4-0

They still have to beat the Phillies two more times, and they are not going to back down easily just because the Rockies won ONE game. They came back down by a lot more than that to take the division from the Mets.

I can't help by feel if they make it to the world series they'll get smoked by any of the AL teams. It would be a great story to remember but I don't see it happening.

Where did this guy learn math? They've won one game! They're fun to watch and I'll be pulling for them, but it's not likely.
