104/325 = .320 Jeff Bagwell

Yes, they do, though how Williams managed that average is hard to believe. He only hit that high once in his career, and that was a short, injury-plagued season.

Anyway... breaking out the prime factors for each man's hits and AB shows that both are hitting at a ratio of 8/25 (.320, duh).

depends on how many decimals you stretch it out, but by baseballs "average" ... yes! They have a .320 average. divide the low number by the high number for the average.
