OK....so what was the deal Boston put up? 52 million for 6 years! Wow! Okay, so I know there are youtube vids showing Diasuke throwing this "supposed" gyrolball. And I know baseball analysts are all excited about there being a new pitch since the splitfinger fastball from the 1970s..
What I want to gather from this post is:
1.) Which of you do and do not believe that such a pitch exists.
2.) If such a pitch exits, what measures can hitters take to adopt their hitting styles to counter the gyro?

QUESTION......?
Women in the MLB?......What are the rules?
At least one woman in the world would be good enough to play Men's pro Baseball (MLB)...some of the players in the MLB have huge pot bellys...hehe

How hard is it to be a bat catcher anyway!

So far the Dodgers look like the team to watch for next year. They finally have that number one starter which means now Brad Penny can go back to the spot where he is at his best as the third starter take a look at this rotation 1. Jason Schmidt 2. Derick Lowe 3. Brad Penny 4. Chad Billingsley 5. Randy Wolf another key signing this Dodger starting five if it stays healthy is scary how are you going to win series with these guys? Not to mention free agency so far Juan Pierre the best lead off hitter in baseball and top base stealer and Rafael Furcal batting second? speed kills watch out for the Dodgers this year this team can win the title next year.

Astros trading there two top pitching prospects and there only good CF for a guy who's in the last year of his contract and who has more losses than wins during the last 4 years? Them signing Carlos Lee, who's nearing 300 lbs. when Chris Duncan of STL had a better OBP and SLG percentage? And what about the Cubs signing Pinella? He'll quit mid-season finally figuring out why the Cubs are the worst team in the majors.
