Taking into account that he was pitching in the american league, in a hitters park, during one of the most offense-centric periods in the history of the game...would this qualify '99 pedro as being the most dominant the game has seen?

What players since 1975 are most like Stan Musial?

1. Hitting: Since 1975, what player or players compare best with Stan Musial?

Don Mattingly, in his prime, was often compared to Musial. George Brett, Garciaparra (prime), and Puckett (best years) might also be similar to Musial. Is this a fair assessement or are there better comparisons?

2: Defense (Outfield): Since '75, who played outfield defense similarly to Musial?

3: Defense (First Base): Who compares favorably with him at first base (since '75)?

Thanks!

I want to play softball for my school, but I have no money to purchase the things I need to try out. If I don't try out, it is not a big deal. I want to play though, but softball stuff is really exspensive, and I need the stuff by next week!

It is ridiculuous that teams like Milwaukee, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay have no chance of competing in the free-agent market, therefore having no serious chance of ever competing consistently during the season or the playoffs. I love baseball, but I'm tired of the Yankees, Braves, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cardinals and Giants. I'd like to see some other teams and get to know some of the other talent in the league.

Also should the All-Star be played at the end of the season? Sources was talking about these changes.

1-A pitcher throws to first base to pickoff the runner, the ball is un-touched and flys into the stands.

2-same thing as above,except...the ball deflects off the firstbasemans glove and goes into stands.

where does runner on first advance on both?
