Daisuke, who is supposedly the best player in the world, can throw alot more than a fastball, he can throw change up, slider, curveball, splitter, cutter, and one of my favorites, the gyro ball. but even though he is a great pitcher, the amount spent on him just for an interview was stupid, i just hope he takes the red sox to the world series this year

Just to let you know I did a little research, Matsuzaka does not throw the gyro ball. He was rumored to by a lot of people but he even admits he has never thrown it. He throws a mid 90's fastball a nasty changeup (his out pitch) a nasty curve ball that drops a lot, a splitter and slider (not totally sure on the last one but I am 80% sure)

Rumor has it that he can throw the perpetuating slowball, the same one that Bugs Bunny threw in the early 80's. You know the one, the one he threw against the Marauders and three guys swung 3 times at that same 1 pitch. 123 strike your out! 123 strike your out, 123 strike your out! Can't beat that pitch.

He throws a splitter, changeup, slider, curveball, cutter, and is working on the gyro ball which is like the opposite of curveball.
