I keep hearing rumours that New Jersey is getting their own MLB team in 2007. Is this true, or is it just a RUMOUR?

Anyway, if it is true, is their new stadium going to be built in the Meadowlands?

I'am a die hard yankees fan and I'am happy about the move, do you think that the trade will actually work, from what I have read they are very talented prospect pitchers and they are young compared to the 38 year old gary sheffield

Does anyone know how I can preserve autographs on baseballs? They are just written with a regular black ink pen but I don't want them to fade. Thanks!

A report on Friday afternoon indicated that the Red Sox may have placed the highest bid for Japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka.

This came from a Mark Feinsand (MLB.com) article I read.

I have played MLB 2K4,5, and 6. MLB06 and The Show. Slugfest 03. None of these games have Kevin Millar or Barry Bonds. The Show also doesn't have Royce Clayton or Kyle Snyder.

(In my games I like to keep my rosters up to date. Clayton for Nats, Snyder for Sox. That's why I noticed they weren't there).

What do you do if you are the manager of a team and this is the situation?:

There are two very quick runners on first and second with one out. It is the bottom of the ninth and your starting pitcher is still on the mound wit h no one warming up. The man at the plate is 3-3 today with 3 HR's and 57 HR's this season. The game is tied. You need to either get an out then another, or a double play. Do you...

Put him on intentionally. This is a dangerous move, because then the other team just needs a deep fly out, to get the sacrifice and win the game.

Or, do you...

Pitch to him. This is also risky, because you're hoping for the double play, BUT this man is 3-3 today with 3 HR's. If he homers or even singles deep, there is a chance that the other team can win.

(This is the bottom of the ninth in the SEVENTH GAME OF THE WORLD SERIES 2007.)

What do you do? Choose wisely.
