I do not believe that MLB should contrat neither the Arizona Diamondbacks and/or the Colorado Rockies. The Diamondbacks on the World Series in 2001 and the American League West Division in 1999, 2001 and 2002 and are the first professional team in Arizona (that I am aware of) to win a championship.

For the Colorado Rockies, although they have never been the division champions or have ever won the NL Pennant or World Series, the Rockies have only been around for14 Years (starting in 2007) and for Denver, the Rockies help the city because it makes Denver have four professional teams.

As for Milwaukee Brewers, I think that if they were to be played back in the American League, you would have to find another AL Team to put into the NL and I do not see an AL Team wanting to move to the NL League.

That's garbage....Colorado draws just fine, it's just their team sucks.

I wouldn't contract anybody, but i would think about moving the marlins unless they build a new stadium. I could see a major league team in San Antonio...I'm still trying to figure out why they don't have an NFL team. Tampa's slowly getting better...let them be for at least a couple more years.

Somebody's gotta do something about those Royals though!!!! Their management sucks and since the family essentially has a chokehold on the ownership of the organization (4 of the 7 on the Board of Directors are members of the Glass family, and remember, they own Wal-Mart too) they refuse to spend any money and refuse to do anything to make the team better.

I like the idea of a salary floor, for just that reason...you didn't ask but I thought I should tell anyway :)

No contraction - but realignment. The Marlins should be relocated to San Antonio. The Brewers should stay in the National League. And Tampa Bay should go to Las Vegas or Portland. Even Charlotte would be a better bet.

Maybe, but being from Minnesota, one of the original teams to be contracted I would say NO! If there has to be contraction of 2 teams, how about Tampa, and the Yankees!

no they should get two more teams in the majors one for the city of Montreal becuase they are a great baseball city any the lockout screw them over because they were the world series favorites during the early 1990's. The other city which should get a city New Orleans because the city will sport the team like they did to the Saints

if they did what they were SUPPOSED to do in 2002....

Tampa, Detroit, Montreal (now washington) and one other low income team should of been dissolved. But that idiot Selig wanted to make a tie for an all freak game have his wimpy clause on steroids (isn't it strange how the reports fell off the map when Palmeiro tested positive?) then have the NERVE to sue fantasy games because his players are licensed through the league and should not belong on any fantasy roster. ITS BECAUSE OF THE FANTASY SPORTS THERE IS STILL AN INTEREST IN BASEBALL SELIG YOU JACKASS!

oh and nice job on your labor "agreement" keeping King George afloat on that equally wimpy luxry tax and keepign teh status quoe.

Selig needs to go after that who cares.

I think we should get rid of Milwaukee & Toronto. Get out of Canada altogether. Then have New Teams in Nashville & New
Orleans and make 3 leagues of 10 teams each with only the 3
winners and one wild card going to playoffs for World Series.
