Look them up on eBay. This shows you what actual real people are willing to pay for them. Any card magazines or their websites (Beckett for example) just tell you what they "think" they are worth. Keeping in mind that they accept advertising dollars from the very same companies whose cards they are pricing.

You can also go to a local bookstore and check out the large books with every card.Be carefull taking these into a shop. Find someone you trust to help you... depending on the age and condition.. You undoughtably have some gems in there... Some really olde cards even the common players are worth a decent amount...

If they are really old see if you recognize any styles on this page.
Again my advice is to not take these into any old card shop to evaluate unless you very much trust them...

Go to a bookstore or anywhere where they have a large selection of magazines and purchase the Beckett price guide. That is what the majority of card dealers go by when pricing cards.

You should use Ebay or look for a dealer in your area. The best thing to do would be look for a collcetor in your area. They would give you a fair price. A dealer is looking to make money. But a collcetor is looking to ad to his collection. The market for cards goes up and down. You might want to hold on to them for awhile.
