Lee! Obviously, he was injured last year, hence it was not a good year. However, he is healthy, and I expect another MVP year from him in 2007.

Why in the heck do people respond saying....(name) then saying but blah blah blah because the Cubs stink. No they don't. People if you don't like the Cubs then don't respond.
The Cubs have lots of talent and quite a few great players, as many will see in 07.
Aramis Ramirez is excellent, and resigned with them today. So who ever said Rami above and said now he can go to a better team or w/e. Well too bad for you , because he is staying with us.
Michael Barrett is a very good hitting catcher, Carlos Zambrano and Rich hill are the best pitchers, Murton is a great hitter, Lee can be good. They just have lots of good guys. Aardsma and Howry are great relievers.
This team is going to get better. Aramis said that when he resigns and we all know it. They had personal problems this year, and other problems as well. They now have a new manager and coaches. They do not stink.
I have been a fan all of my life, and I didn't miss a game in the 06 season, I taped the ones I missed, so this is comming from a fan.

That's easy Big Z. His pitching is so good and consistent. He is the only Cub pitcher that you can actually count on. He is not going to pitch only a few games than sit on the dl the rest of the season. Have you seen his batting stats? For a pitcher he is amazing. I also like his fire he actually cares. When he broke the bat over his knee on ESPN just because he struck out I was amazed.

Aramis Ramirez, because he just finished his final games with the cubs and can now play for a real baseball team not a joke of a franchise.

Zambrano, as was referenced by Nas8, Evil, & Bradley
Out of respect for Lee, I'll say I would have liked to have given him the vote, but as was cited he did have only one top 5 player year (for lack of a better description). Furthermore in his defence, his injury was a freak injury, even though Furcal isn't exactly what we'd refer to as "beefy." Z has been pretty consistent for a number of years, and injury-free so long as he's keeping off his computer.
PS for Evil: I respect your baseball opinions, but I feel inclined to inform you that you're talking like the Boss (George S). You guys just won the W.S.; your team obviously doesn't need any more help.
