This could be in minor or majors, just wondering if it has been done.

I will report any inappropriate responses.

Having Smoltz as their starter rather than a dominating closer?
I understand Smoltz's logic in saying that you need strong starting pitching in the playoffs if you plan on winning a series... but did it hurt the Braves by him going back in the rotation?

They must have tried at least 10 closers in Atlants since his departure.

When a game is rained out, such as the Yankees are in a rain delay, and, let's say the opposing team [the Twins] score 4 runs in the top of the inning, but the game is RAINED OUT, and finalized due to rain, and the home team [the Yankees] do not finish batting in the bottom if the inning, do all runs scored in the top of the inning count?

How is Barry any bigger a jerk than Roger Clemens?

When did Barry walk away from a playoff game in a hissyfit when his team needed him like Roger did in Oakland for the BoSox?

How many Cy Young awards has Roger won? 7... same as the number of MVP awards as Barry.

When did Barry ever get into a fight on the field?
When did Barry ever throw equipment at someone? You know... like a broken bat.

So, Barry has a special chair in the locker room... is that REALLY worse than a guy that won't join his "team mates" on road trips?

When did Roger give a team mate a top of the line new car just for some friendly locker room banter?

Plenty of sprorts writers have written about the arrogance of Roger Clemens... but the public in general.

If you're a Barry hater... why? and Why not Roger?

Is it really just a reflection of your racisim?

If so... then do the 1989 Giants win the World Series? Who gets the 1996 NL MVP award that went to Caminitti? Since Palmiero ACTUALLY tested positive, how does that effect the Orioles, Rangers and Cubs? Who should get Canseco's MVP award?

He has worked wonders for The Tigers.
He has taken a team that was 20 games under last year to a team that is 30+ games over.

Even if The Tigers do not make the post season, he is a strong canidate for that award.

What do you think?

As early as September 20th (in Chicago)?

Or sooner.

Their magic number is 24 against the white sox
and 25 against The Twins. Any combination of Detroit Wins and Chicago losses equally 24, and The Tigers have thier first Division Title since 1987.

Seeking fantasy baseball help from fellow Yahoo! Answers people...so....I want to pick up David Wells since he just got traded to the Padres. I heard "Forget his 2006 numbers and for a second forget his age, too. The bottom line is that Wells is going to a park that favors fly-ball pitchers, and it doesn't hurt that it's also his hometown (Wells was never very comfortable in Boston). Throw in the added excitement of a pennant race and you have a legitimate deep sleeper for the final four weeks." However, I have no idea who to drop off my pitchers roster...if I should...here are my current starting pitchers: Matt Cain, Ben Sheets, Jered Weaver, Nate Robertson, Chad Billingsley, Ian Snell, Dan Haren, Aaron Harang, and Cole Hamels. Let me know your thoughts, ideas, etc. Make them legit, sensible answers. Please and thank you.
