What does this do to the immediate future of the Mets. And will Pedro become just an average pitcher after this. He also must deal with his leg injury. Do the Mets hope for the best or do they try and deal him away before next season??

Tim Wakefield had a couple losing streak this season. On is recent, after he came out of the injury, which the reason of losing is pretty obvious.

However, he had another losing streak in the beginning of the season, that was when Doug Mirabelli was traded to the Padres. As soon as Mirabelli returned in May, Wakefield's record began to get better.

Ok, I know Doug's hitting suck, but do you think he is one of the best Knuckleball catcher?

Hadn't they already clinched well before yesterday? After Thursday's games, they had 94 wins, and the next closest team (San Diego) only had 86, and there were only three games left. It seems to me that Mets clinched the NL's best record at least 5 or 6 days ago.

Here is the article, although they don't explain their headline.

Actually, I'm thinking this might just be an erroneous headline.

What are the chanches that the Mets and Yankees are going to meet again for another Subway Series? Do you think the Yankees will beat the Mets again or the Mets will avenge 2000? Also do you see Met fans screaming for Bernie Williams blood? After all he did caught Mike Piazza ball and cost the Mets the series.
