In this day and age of the home run and since it's done only by a few players per season? One more thing, where will Pierre be next season?

Pierre could be the next free agent acquisition for the Yankees lol.

But 200 hits is an accomplishment, to be sure, but since it's done by roughly 5 players a year it's not that uncommon a feat.

60 sb's is a bigger deal, which Pierre has been close to but not accomplished yet.

HAVE ANY OF YOU PEOPLE EVER WATCHED A BASEBALL GAME! Wrigley is one of the oldest ballparks remaining, also meaning it is a hitters ballpark, also consider that theres nobody on the cubs that have any threat, with derek lee out and aramis ramirez streaky, they only got pierre, plus nobody is scared of the cubs cause they suck! now im not saying the mariners dont suck, cause they do, but they are just not consistent... if you saw the first few guys on the team, if they could be consistent it would be scary...ichiro, jose lopez, adrian beltre, richie sexson, rauuuuuuuuuuuuul ibanez, and kenji johjima...with all those guys that could take you deep on there own seperate days everyone fears them, they can come out one day and kill you, and get it shoved up them doggy style the next...therefore they fear ICHIRO, who since entering the MLB has not had a season without 200+ hits, including last season setting the record for hits in a season, and all this comes down to...SAFECO IS A PITCHERS BALL PARK!!! its small, its got thick air and what ichiro is doing is just sick!
