What are the chanches that the Mets and Yankees are going to meet again for another Subway Series? Do you think the Yankees will beat the Mets again or the Mets will avenge 2000? Also do you see Met fans screaming for Bernie Williams blood? After all he did caught Mike Piazza ball and cost the Mets the series.

since the yankees are in a 1-2 against the tigers its looking real bleak for a subway series...but never count out the yanks and if they pull it out i think the momentum will carry them all the way

I do see the 2006 World Series being a Subway Series between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. I see the series being a six game series and the Mets winning the series at Yankee Stadium.

Subway Series? - very good chance. This time will be different than the 2000 Series however. I figure the Mets will win in 6 games with one or two of the Mets wins being extra inning wins.

I think the possibility of a Yankee - Mets matchup is good. Although, Detroit is leading in the series now, the Yankees are a clutch team and can come back.

The Mets may not even get to the series with Hernandez hurt. That means half their pitching staff is down. Anyway the Yankees lineup is just too powerful for anyone to beat.

The Yanks first need to win both games against the Tigs to get to the next level for their quest for their 27th WS. Right now that batting lineup hasn't even scored in two games so far. The Yank for their sake need to kick Detroits *** today and tomorrow or their gone for the season.

I want another Subway Series and when they do it will be at least 6 game as the Yanks as WS Champions.

I think the chances are good for a subway series. I am worried about Randy Johnson's herniated disc, though and how that epidural he got will effect him in the long run. The Mets have their problems, too with El Duque and Pedro out. We'll see.

Mets will be there because the rest of the NL is weak. Yankees have a great lineup, but do not have the pitching this year.
