I realize the best record gets in but, really Doesn't Houston deserve it more.

I would say St Louis has been inconsistant all year, and nobody wants to play Houston in the playoffs.

Why doesn't St. Louis deserve it? They have a good team, and have been consistent all year.

Think about what constitutes a good season. It's winning. No matter how you look at it, even if a team plays a great game, but ends up losing, it's a failure. Also, how do you measure playoff worthiness besides record? As long as St. Louis has a better record than Houston, it deserves a shot at the playoffs.
By the way, couldn't both teams have gotten to the playoffs with one team as the wild card?

well i dont know who deserves to be or not, but houston looks like they should win because they've been doing really well as of late, and st. louis is just the other way around. and this is the playoffs, which is best if you go on a stretch of winning, rather than losing.
for that, houston should get in.

Houston is playing better and is probably the better team right now, but, like you said, the best record gets in. There is a reason that the season is 162 games and that is so that a good stretch in and of itself does not put you in. That being said, I really wish Houston would do it, but, it doesn't look good.

I don't think the Cardinals have been very good this year,
But since I'm from St. Louis I guess I have to say they do deserve it :P
