Tim Wakefield had a couple losing streak this season. On is recent, after he came out of the injury, which the reason of losing is pretty obvious.

However, he had another losing streak in the beginning of the season, that was when Doug Mirabelli was traded to the Padres. As soon as Mirabelli returned in May, Wakefield's record began to get better.

Ok, I know Doug's hitting suck, but do you think he is one of the best Knuckleball catcher?

Jeffery, that's right. Sox season was ended a couple weeks ago, but it really doesn't hurt talking about. Although being a sox that makes me hate the yanks, but like most of the sox fans I do have lots of respect for you guys.

I am not gonna cheer for the Yanks, of course, except for when my Taiwanese homeboy Wang is playing. I hope he will have the chance to play in the WS against another homeboy - Kuo.

The fact that the Red Sox needed to reqacquire Mirabelli should tell you something. Not too many catchers can catch a knuckleballer effectively. When they initially traded him,I was shocked. How can a team be so dumb as to trade the personal catcher of a Yankee killer,it was a bad business move-Loretta could've been acquired w/o Mirabelli. Flaherty wanted no part of the job and the guy they did get has so many passed balls while catching Wake. That's like bringing in a lefty specialist and he can't get out the guy he's being paid to(ie:Myers vs.Ortiz) As a Yankees fan, I was happy but couldn't understand the reasoning behind the trade. The Red Sox front office really had to swallow a lot by re-signing Mirabelli. He's still good for a HR here and there. I'm glad to hear that you will root for Wang, he's something else--the real deal.

Are the Red Sox still playing? I guess I thought their season was over. I think Mirabellia is the luckiest man on earth that he can catch a knuckleball or his career would have been over years ago.

GO YANKS!!! ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!

There is a certain comfort that they have in each other. Mirabelli is a great knuckle ball catcher. He does have the occasional hitting streak. I think that Tek was missed more.
