Besides Gustavo Chacin and Tony Armas, who have 9 wins each, there are already 7 other Venezuelan pitchers with at least 10 wins. Can you name them? Two are battling for Cy Awards and another one is a candidate for ROY honors

The 91 year old owner of the Twins said he wants to play the Yankees in the first round because the Twins can beat them.

New York Mets pitching get past the National League Championship Series and into the World Series.

And, what about the World Series without Pedro Martinez if the New York Mets get into the World Series?

Do the Mets have a serious problem without Pedro?...

Who will knock the N.Y. Mets out of the N.L.C.S....?

With three left: do the stros have a better shot at sweeping Atanta than the Cards do at getting the next three off St. Loius? Or how do you think they each will fare in the remaining three and make up (cards) or tiebreaker?

YOU BET THEY ARE! It won't end tied for first either. If it did Detroit would get it through default because they beat the Twins a few more times. So if the Twins end in 1st place alone. Is it on to Oakland instead of NY?

I'll give the best answer (10 points) to the person that can predict the final score of the Padres vs. Diamondbacks game thats happening as I write. NO CHEATING (i.e. TV, online game, radio, etc.)
HINT: the current score in the third inning is Padres: 5 D'backs: 0

This question is mostly for Mets fans like myself, Padre fans (you guys should know how I feel), and any other bitter, hostile individual. When you are watching a possible no-hitter in progress, even if it is at the expense of a hated rival, do you root against it sort of like how Dolphin fans root for every team to lose at least one game every year just so they can maintain at least a shred of dignity?

a lot of people say the Derek Jeter will win it just cause his team made it to the playoffs. People should look at the player not the team.
