He's probably right. The Twins stand a better chance of beating the yankees than The Tigers do.
The Tigers were 2-5 against the yanks in the regular season, but in a short 5 game series anything can happen.
I hope to see The Twins & The Tigers in the American League Championship!

More balls than brains. Twins were 2-4 against the Yankees this season. I think the Tigers were 1-5. Athletics had them 6-3.

If the Yanks are going down in the first round it will be to the Twins...the Tigers won't do it, not in the first round, maybe in the second

You have to be positive or you don't belong in the playoffs. The reality of it is that the Yankees lineup is just too powerful to beat. Onions??? Yes??? But usually comments like that are generated from fear!!

Of all of the teams in the AL playoffs he's right. They're probably the only team that "can" beat the Yanks. It ain't gonna happen but thats the only hope they can have.
