With three left: do the stros have a better shot at sweeping Atanta than the Cards do at getting the next three off St. Loius? Or how do you think they each will fare in the remaining three and make up (cards) or tiebreaker?

It certainly looks like it can happen. In all fairness this is a story about the Cardinals falling apart more than it's about the Astros getting hot. If the Astros had played decent baseball throughout the season we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Absolutely! We definitely have the pitching staff. With Clemens and Pettitte both on the mound for the last series, we've got a great chance. And even though the Cardinals won Thursday, they lost Friday and seem to still be in a slump. I think we have an amazing chance! GO ASTROS!!

Yes the Cards. lost tonight, with the way they were hitting last night I thought that would be a turning point for them, but they have lost,as of tonight,8 out of 9,and the Astros are a half game behind.I'll bet my money on the Astros, they seem to be playing w/more heart.

I think it will happen. The Cards pitching just isn't has good has the Astros pitching right now. The Cards have slid too far and now it has become exciting. Too bad my Reds aren't in it now. I know there is very outside chance, but the Astros are on a roll.
