O.K. we all know Detroit, New York Yanks, or New York Mets are for sure going to the World Series, but my question is who has the best chance next year?

Who's in the playoffs, people?

AL: Central-Tigers, East-Yankees, West-Athletics, Wildcard-White Sox

NL: East-Mets, Central-Reds, West-Dodgers, Wildcard-Diamondbacks

Tigers over Mets in the World Series, Tigers beating White Sox and Yankees on the way, Mets beating D'Backs and Dodgers on the way.

I've been told by Toronto locals that I can just wait in line right before the game, buy some cheapo tickets, then sit in closer seats, since no one checks your tickets. Would you suggest I do this? Or should I purchase tickets beforehand to ensure we get good seats? (Its for my BF's b-day)

The last time I checked, some people were still counting the Red Sox in, and the Tigers as for sure and the Yankees as maybes, i think its time for up to date predictions.

AL Central: White Sox
AL East: Yankees
AL West: Athletics
AL Wild Card: Tigers

NL Central: Cardinals
NL East: Metropolitans
NL West: Dodgers
NL Wild Card: Phillies

I think he's the MVP for AL, no questions asked. Not only because hes on the Sox, but because hes batting like .328, has 39 HRs, 107 RBIs, is slugging like .657, has 150 hits, is an awesome right fielder, and has a bunch of local charites of underpriveleged kids here in Chicago. I have to also go with my other favorite team, the Indians with Hafner, but the Indians likely wont make the playoffs.

Okay, The Astros Made It To The World Series Back In 2005, but how long would it take for them to do it again. I mean, what would it take for them to do it again, what ever it is, they need to provide themselves a good pitching staff and power hitters, let me know what you think.

Sorry this isn't a real baseball question, but I'm just curious!
What do you guys snack on while watching a baseball game at home?
I like watermelon or other chilled fruit. Quesadillas are good too!

I know I sound crazy but I'm watching the Braves @ Phillies Game. It's the 4th inining and he already has two homers. That makes 51. He only needs 23 to break it and the Phillies have 26 games left. I know it's unlikely but it's possible esspecialy the way he has been hitting lately. What do you think?
