What Freddy Sanchez is doing this year is unprecedented in the modern(1946-2006) history of baseball...To play 2B,SS and 3B a minimum of 20 games each with the degree of defensive range and skill, and too hit .344 is something nobody has ever done before...If there is any justice he should win the gold glove for 3B...

Freddy Sanchez - 2006 -
BA-344 OB%-381 SLG-482 OPS-863

2B- GP-17 RF-4.89 FLD%-1,000
SS- GP-24 RF-4.89 FLD%-.974
3B- GP-82 RF-3.34 FLD%-.977

Yes I know he needs three more games at 2B, he's on pace to do it...Every manager in baseball would love to have this guy on his team...He is going to hang in there and win the batting title this year...

GREG MADDUX. Just kidding. It is probably gonna be Sanchez, but the Pirates SUCK, so i want Chase Utley to get it, even though it probably wont happen.

I believe that Sanchez has held the lead continuously since about mid-June. I'd put my money on him at this point.

I'm rooting for Brian McCann. He's on both of my fantasy teams as a free agent pickup about 20 games into the season. (however, that's about the only good move I've made on either team.)

I tend to agree with you there, he has had an outstanding season and if he can keep it up, he will have a very good chance
