Is there anyone brave enough to still admit to being an atlanta braves fan? Man what has that team come to. I have been a braves fan since i was in diapers and ive been a chipper jones fan since he came around. That team is making him look bad lol. Getting rid of andrew next year? and smoltz most likely..
Anyone think cox should retire lol. Whats everyone's opinion. I knoe the Braves aren't a well-liked team but I'm curious.

Every single hand went up except for a little girl's.

"Janie. You don't like the Yankees?"

"No. I'm a Red Sox fan."

"Why are you a Red Sox fan?"

"Because my parents are Red Sox fans," the little girl replied.

"You don't have to like everything that you're parents like," the teacher said getting frustrated. "What if your parents were morons? What would you be then?"

"A Yankees fan."

I think all the old guys broke out of their hibernation, cuz they've been on a tear, including B-B-B-Barry. He's smashed 7 HR in 12 games. They're 2.5 back on the Pads' for a Wild Card, and 3.5 back on the Damn Dodgers. The Dodgers and Pads' are going into a three day series today, so they're basically hurting eachother. What's their chances?

My sons little league team has been doing really poorly the past couple of seasons and so I pressured the coach into renaming the team.

I am one of the major financial supporters for uniforms, trips, and all that kind of thing.

I pretty much strong armed the coach into renaming the team the Red Sox, because I figured who knows, they may get lucky, and win it all.

Was this wrong for me to do this.

I was looking at some impartially recorded data recently and I saw that since 1920 the Yankees have won 26 World Series and 39 Penants.

I also noticed that Boston has won one World Series and 5 or 10 pennants in the same time frame.

Clearly they are both excellent teams and it isn't at all true that one of them totally sox, but I was wondering if you could help tell who is actually the better franchise?

As everyone must know now, the padres are playing 4 games against the Dodgers @ Dodger Stadium,the battle for the NL West its like all over ESPN. I am a huge Dodgers fan, & i know the Dodgers haven't done that good against the padres this year but i'm hoping the Dodgers take 3 of 4, a sweep would be great, but i'll be content with 3 of 4. Im curious to know what Padre fans & fellow Dodger fans have to say.
The Dodgers have played great @ home, & these 4 games are @ home, so that should be an advantage for us.
