Well, wouldn't you like it to have a year wear you hit in the high .280s have over 30 home runs and 100 rbi? Numbers like are considered an off year for A-rod. Most players dream of those numbers and thats considered an off year for him. It hard to hit .300 40 home run 120 rbi year after year. The guy still puts up great numbers and he pressed this year and went into lots of slumps. If he went to Boston he would have struggles like he did hear maybe other then on defesne since hed be playing short stop. Boston has the same expectations as the Yankees. They want to win and thats puts pressure on anybody, some handle it better then others.

New Yorkers hatred of A-Rod just reminds me of why I can't stand New Yorkers. Spoiled brats and horrible sports fans. Same thing for Philadelphia on the horrible sports fans part but they aren't spoiled with any winning. A-Rod still put up great numbers and he is still a great player. His numbers will be just fine next year, especially if they win a series. I never understand the philosophy of how booing one of your best players, a guy who is well known as one of the hardest workers in baseball, is going to help him play better. And his numbers in Boston would be better because of the short porch in left, unlike NY where the short porch is in right for lefty hitters.
