The Giants are still kicking right now, their chances are just as good as anyones right now. Matt Cain is on F-I-R-E right now. Huge series vs St. Louis this weekend. If they can get Lowry consistent they could get there, but he's so up and down....With Cain, Schmidt and Lowry pitching well, they could give the Dodgers and Padres a run for the division and possibly the wild card too...these last couple of weeks should be wild in the NL. Pitching as always will be the key to the whole thing.

OK. Take a good look at the Giants roster. Now calculate in your head exactly how many San Francisco Giants have had their rookie year after 1995. Now, look at how many players have a had a considerably good season since coming to the Giants or in 2005.
What do those numbers say? That the Giants are as good as Arite Lange's Beer League Team.
Alou, Bonds, Durham, Finley, Vizquel, Feliz, Schmidt, Stanton, Morris, Benitez, Worrell.
Way too many players that are that old.
Shea Hillenbrand is the youngest player besides Back-up 1B Niekro, Back-up C Todd Greene and Catcher Alfonzo. WIth the Padres, Marlins, Phils and Reds competing, there is NO chance for San Fran to make it.
LETS GO METS!

The offense isn't good, and our bullpen is inconsistent at impressive. both Cain and Lincecum have lost victories at the moment as a results of blown saves. except the putting out pitching the foremost word is inconsistent, and for that i might want to assert 4 or 5. Does each person recognize the position you'll come across stats on blown saves? I did google it, BTW, and were given not something yet blogs.

The Giants will fade. Look for the Padres to make a season ending run.
