Is there anyone brave enough to still admit to being an atlanta braves fan? Man what has that team come to. I have been a braves fan since i was in diapers and ive been a chipper jones fan since he came around. That team is making him look bad lol. Getting rid of andrew next year? and smoltz most likely..
Anyone think cox should retire lol. Whats everyone's opinion. I knoe the Braves aren't a well-liked team but I'm curious.

im not a true braves fan i think they are ok. but i think this season with all the injuries and young players they had this year no offence they had no chance. next year will be diff. though. with a healthy chipper and more experienced field of players they will be better next year. yes a. jones will be gone but dont worry that wont keep them down. look foward to a good 2008 for sure!!

Well this year was a disappointment but I think they will regroup and get some fresh talent for next year. I think Cox has been a great manger and I think he's still got something left in him but with all the injuries it's kinda hard to be a winning ball club. I look forward to next year and hope they pick up some fresh talent. As for Jones leavin well that's still a maybe but it does look like he's leavin. Go braves!!!

Oh yeah I'm definetly a Braves fan and have been one for 40 yrs through good and bad times. No fair weather fan here as I always will.root for them. They will no doubt make some moves during the off season. Their pitching was their achilles heel this year and they need to shore that up. We were down this year but we will be back.

I'm the same way. Been a Braves fan forever (thanks TBS). Andruw unfortunately will be gone next year most likely but Smoltz is gonna stay. They were so young and injury prone this year they have no where to go but up! I think next year they will be right back in the mix of things.

theyre definitely heading towards a "rebuilding" phase. smoltz is aging, so is chipper. if they have a good front office and AAA team they might be contenders again as early as id say 2008 or 2009 in my opinion.

You guys just won 14 division titles in a row!! You miss the playoffs one year and suddenly its the Apocalypse?? You'll be fine. John Schurholz is still one of the best GMs in baseball. He'll do what is necessary to get them back on track. Hey you knew it wasn't going to last forever. It was still a great run, the only disappointment being only one WS title.

nicely, gee. i do not recognize. How about them Eagles? What excuses are you Philly followers giving them now? putting out off the season a million-2? Oh and they even lost to the slumping ATLANTA FALCONS too. feels like it will be a lengthy three hundred and sixty 5 days for football for you adult men or perhaps as the Phillies won't be able to pull it off contained in the postseason, then the position will all you Philly followers bypass?
