they absolutely have a shot, any team has a shot. they have done great without him with his injury. playoff time is another story but anything can happen (who would have expected years like 2003 marlins and 2004 red sox with their miracles on comebacks and championship wins)

unless they play in the first round, i think the twins and yankees will play for the AL pennant because they are 2 of the best teams in the 2nd half of the year, and it would kind of stink if they play in the 1st round.

but overall, yes the twins have a shot at the pennant. their chances might decline with liriano being out for the year, but every team has a shot, and this is baseball so anything can happen.

never, yet crediting Twins for what I stated weeks in the past, of what they could do. Minny hung round all season exhibiting their 500 style ball, and in that weak branch this three hundred and sixty 5 days with the overvalued Sox and Tigers, all Twins had to do ws secure their prevailing way, save heads on tight and do as they been doing. i think Twins have better pitching and offense as an entire then Tigers. satirically Morneau is going out with an harm and they made their ambitious bypass, putting Mauer in peoples minds, even extra so now, as MVP. I knew this sequence develop into considered necessary and Twins might want to take it. This time of season even as divisional play is severe for contednign communities, Minnesota is doing what they prefer to, taking cost, even as over rated Detroit pulls a Brewer/Mets choke on the top.

The Twins have been playing very well without Liriano. Remember, he's a pitcher, he'd play only once every five games at most anyway. If the Twins keep playing as well as they have been, they'll be in the playoffs and have a very good chance to win the AL Central.

Santana is so good, of course they have a shot!
They're only 1 1/2 games back from the Tigers
and it's so easy to close that gap in 2 weeks,
it ain't even funny!

Of course they do.

Minnesota always fields a good baseball team.

2 games out now, but it aint over til it's over (unless you are a whinny sux).

The Twins will make the playoffs, as do The Tigers.

this is only lirianos first season, i think

the twins have been a damn good team for the last 5 years, so yes, they still have a shot without him

It would have been easier with Liriano, but they still have played AWESOME in the time he been out. So, yes, they have a good shot shot at it.
