I really haven't heard anything like this since Lou Piniella getting into it with Rob Dibble, when Piniella was managing the Reds.

Am I missing something? They are also the team that have that huge 6'8 black kid. Is this the same Saudi Arabia country that I am thinking of in my head? Like that middle eastern country? Why does it have a bunch of BLONDE headed white kids and some huge black guy if its from the middle east. What am I not getting here?

After a 5 game weekend sweep with the Yankees which I had such good hope, the Red Sox are now 6.5 out of the AL East and 4 back in the AL Central. Will they make the playoffs?

I had asked a similar question earlier about if radar guns have different speeds because I am suspecting that the speeds you see in the majors are faster than if you take a normal radar gun and hold it behind the plate during a pitch.

This article seems to support that view.

I am curious if anyone has more information in this regard, and also how much different the speeds might be from the start to the end? I have been tested in the low 80s with a normal gun behind the plate, so if it wasn't a "fast" gun as the article suggests, I am curious as to what I would show up as on a MLB radar gun.

Is it Theo Epstein, pitching, injuries........

I think you gotta blame pitching. They allowed 49 runs in 5 games against the Yankees this past weekend. Wells & Schilling did good this weekend, but that's it. The other starters were bad & the bullpen was horrible.

Are all of the world's problems still our fault? Is it our fault your front office is apparently not committed to winning? And what's with Ortiz saying "It's not fair"?

The situation with Ted Lilly is not his first scrape. He initially challenged Shea Hillebrand to a fight, which Hillebrand declined. He was then made the scapegoat and traded to SF. This is the second time this season Gibbons has fought with or challenged his OWN players. Should he remain manager?? Your thoughts......
