Why does the Saudi Arabia little league baseball team have all these white kids on it?

Am I missing something? They are also the team that have that huge 6'8 black kid. Is this the same Saudi Arabia country that I am thinking of in my head? Like that middle eastern country? Why does it have a bunch of BLONDE headed white kids and some huge black guy if its from the middle east. What am I not getting here?

i know all those kids. we all live on the same american oil company (Saudi ARAMCO) compound of Dhahran. none of them are actually Saudi and none of them are Saudi citizens either (you can't become a Saudi citizen unless you are a Saudi, even if you are born there). They are all American (some have lived in the states, some were born in Saudi, but they all go back there on vacations and stuff) and, because it's an American compound and they go to an American school with Americans and Canadians where they speak english and sound just like an American (I doubt any of those boys know much arabic). They have blond hair because that's always been the Dhahran team's tradition, to all bleach their hair blond (it's like a good luck thing)

the reason the Saudi crew is blond is to reason this way of question. The crew is almost continuously from Saudi Aramco oil organization and contains boys from all nationalities, including Saudi's. There are as many Mohammed's, Abdullah's and Ahmed's as there are bill's, Bob's and David's. i don't believe of any of them are actual blond, even with the undeniable fact that the fact of "it would not remember the position you're from, purely play ball" helps promotes the communities subject. BTW Saudi Arabia has been to the Little League international sequence 15 situations.

They are the kids of American businessmen working/living in Saudi Arabia - mainly from oil companies I believe. That's why most are pretty much American kids. They seem to make it every year as baseball isn't that popular in the that region so there's little competition. They're basically an American team playing in the International bracket.

They are children of employees of an Oil company named something like "Aramco" the live in this small area in Saudi Arabia and tend to dominate that region of baseball because of there familarity with the sport....they were there last year also......the blonde hairdo is some sort of baseball superstition that they believe in....the 6'8" is 13 and will have to come to the United States to attend high school near Houston.....don"t you think someone is chopping at the bit to get him for their basketball team.....anyways.....GO YANKEES! STINKIN RED SOX!!!

Contrary to what some people may think, Arabs are not a homogenous race. Their colours and features can range from the blonde whites kids to the black giant that you mentioned. Eg Lebanese & Syrian Arabs look white, where as Sudanese Arabs look almost black. As far as the ex-patriate thing, and foreign workers, that could be case here.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing two nights ago.

My guess is either 1) children of expatriates, immigrants or foreign workers from the US and other countries, or 2) oil money buying the best little league talent to win the LLWS.

Big Oil Executives kids that are spoiled led them to go to school there. After 8th grade, they have to come to the states to finish school.

FYI..saudi's are not black....most are white.....there are blacks just like in any other country.....but original saudi's are white..
