the sweep by new york probably threw them put of the playoffs. new yor k might be too far ahead now. and they have no chance of the wild card because that is either the twins or the white sox

**** no and I hope the Yankees beat them down again with another sweep. The Yankees will finish them off and I will be a witness to that event.Mark my words the Red Sox will not make it to the playoffs this year they are battered and beaten time to cutoff the life support to the Red Sox Nation.

Yes. In September, they will have tons more pitching, Varitek, and Nixon. The have a chance of being in the playoffs. Now, Sox fans NEED to put the Yankee sweep behind them and move on to the west series. Too bad they lost the first game to the angels.
DOWN WITH THE YANKEES.

Nope. You shouldn't feel too bad. The Yankees may make the playoffs, but they will never win the series.Did you see what the lowly Orioles did to them? They are a paper tiger.Money doesn't always buy everything, does it?

Forget about winning the division. I think they can possibly get the wildcard but they sure dug themselves a big hole.

KEEP THE FAITH!!!!! Remember 2004 ALCS!!!!!! If Al Quada had a team and they were playing the Yankees, I'd even cheer for THEM.
