That is kind of a snide question, but Beckett had a piece in a recent magazine that suggested those with 9.5 + could resubmit and would likely get a 10 grade....does this not change the standards and devalue all the cards they've already graded?

I saw some old newsreels where they had such teams and the women played against other female teams. This was during the 2nd world war. They were prettty good too! Could they compete against the men, can they stand up to them in name calling?

For the last four games (plus tomorrow) I have this rotation:

1. Zito
2. Saarloos
3. Haren
4. Halsey
5. Blanton

Do you guys think it will stay that way for a while? Because I want to go see two games between the A's and Red Sox next week. I will take my mom and sis, and we wanted to see the Monday and Tuesday games, but now by my calculations of the rotation, Zito will pitch on Wednesday!!! That's who my sister and mom want to see more than anyone else. Should we switch to Tuesday-Wednesday? Anyway, there's a $1 hot dog promotion at the Coliseum that day! =d`

Zito pitches every fifth day, and he's never missed a start in his whole career for the A's. Should we trust the current rotation and book Wednesday? According to the pattern I see, when the team has an "off" day, the rotation just continues on the next day; in other words, no one misses a start due to an off day. So if Zito last pitched on Saturday (the 19th), his next start will be on Friday (after the off day)...

I play both baseball and basketball at my school as a Sophomore and I've been thinking about this for a while now....should I quit the basketball team and just stick to baseball? On the basketball team, I will get a little playing time on JV, probably won't start on JV, I will definately not be playing after high school, and the coach is a jerk. But with baseball, I will start every game on JV and I will get in a good bit of Varsity playing time, the coaches are awesome, and I may even have a chance to play after high school. What should I do?
