For the last four games (plus tomorrow) I have this rotation:

1. Zito
2. Saarloos
3. Haren
4. Halsey
5. Blanton

Do you guys think it will stay that way for a while? Because I want to go see two games between the A's and Red Sox next week. I will take my mom and sis, and we wanted to see the Monday and Tuesday games, but now by my calculations of the rotation, Zito will pitch on Wednesday!!! That's who my sister and mom want to see more than anyone else. Should we switch to Tuesday-Wednesday? Anyway, there's a $1 hot dog promotion at the Coliseum that day! =d`

Zito pitches every fifth day, and he's never missed a start in his whole career for the A's. Should we trust the current rotation and book Wednesday? According to the pattern I see, when the team has an "off" day, the rotation just continues on the next day; in other words, no one misses a start due to an off day. So if Zito last pitched on Saturday (the 19th), his next start will be on Friday (after the off day)...

...at Texas on August 25th. Then, following the five-man rotation, his next start should be on Wednesday, August 30th at home (Oakland) against Boston. Should I trust this rotation schedule and go Tuesday-Wednesday, then?

A's fans, help me, please!!! Long live the white cleats!!!

Hey, btw, should we switch to green-and-gold cleats someday? I love those green-and-yellow Puma shoes I see in shoe stores. Or would that be too much? At least for road games or weekend games or something. Of course we shouldn't get rid of the white cleats altogether!

Here's the A's schedule so you can help me. Zito last pitched the 7-2 win @ Kansas City (the 19th). So count five game-days after that to see when he'll pitch next.

Zito is scheduled to pitch on Aug. 25 which would mean he would then pitch on the 30th. Loaiza pitched yesterday so he would then pitch on the 29th. If no one gets injured between now and then that's who you should see. I would take them to the Wed. game to see Zito as he has been good of late (and so has Loaiza).
