Your school probably has a gym. The ceiling of the gym is probably two stories. The outside of the gym is probably concrete or steel.

Take a tennis ball, or hard/heavy rubber ball to the gym. Stand 20 feet away from the wall, pick a point high up on the wall and try to hit that spot by throwing hard. Slowly, over time, work your way away from the wall, aiming higher and throwing further. This is the same form as throwing far from the outfield.

You don't need to be able to throw farther, you need to be able to throw more accurately. Doesn't matter if you throw hard if you don't know where it is going. Get a net or use a wall, but always select a target to throw at. Get better at throwing accurately and you will be a better player. While you are practicing on being precise you will also be training your arm to throw harder.

First, never ever throw a tennis ball, racquet ball, etc. in place of a baseball. Throwing these can hurt your arm.
Now the easy way is get a large clean trash can or two and find a field. take a dozen balls or so and throw them at the can along varying distances. this will also improve accuracy.

There are many great drills that can be done but here are the best in my opinion ( besides long toss which requires a partner)

1) get a towel (appx. 2 foot long) and hold it in your hand and go through a pitching motion full speed ... do this alot
2) sit-ups ..... a strong core equals greater velocity
3) run sprints to increase velocity, distance for stamina...legs generate the power
4) Jobe exercises for rotator cuff strengthening see this site
http://www.webball.com/power/jobe.html
5) get a hold of a Tom House book and/or video
"The Pitching Edge" , "Fit to Pitch", or "Stronger Arms and Upper Body"
Tom was a major league pitcher and a scientist who know pitching

You can throw by yourself, you just won't be able to catch.
