I am not a Red Sox fan, but I would think that getting swept in a five game series by the Yankees has got to be far more painful than it would be if it had been at the hands of most any other team in baseball. Am I right?

Two out in the ninth. Crisp on second, Ortiz on first. Youkilis, up. 2 and 2 count. Crowd on its feet yelling. Half for a strikeout by Frankie Rodriguez, half for a hit by Youkilis. Thousands yelling "You". The pitch by K-Rod, a long fly ball to right. Sox fans are screaming. Angel fans are screaming. I am hoarse. Then Vladi runs back to the wall. He reaches up to grab it and the ball game is over. I sit back down, hoping that I did not see what I just saw. Lady, you don't know pain.

that 5 game series over the weekend showed how much work the red sox need their pitching seems to be falling apart
