1. #1 LSU @ home vs #9 Florida - It'll be close!! Who ever has the ball last will fail to score and lose. Pick 'em.
2. #15 Virginia Tech @ #22 Clemsen - Clemsens's pass defense against a freshman QB will be the difference in this mild upset
3. #24 Kansas St @ home vs Kansas - Kansas with a decent game on both sides of the ball will burst State's bubble by at least 14 points
4. #8 Kentucky @ #11 So. Carolina - Home field advantage will be the difference as SC squeaks by.
5. #5 Wisconsin @ Illinois - Wisconsin has been lacking a strong defense against the run. Illinois has a very good running game and it will be the difference by 6 points
6. #20 Cincinnati @ #21 Rutgers - Who ever wins cannot really be considered an upset so I'll go with Rutgers who has the home field and is looking to revenge last years loss.

She is trying to get into hockey for me, but is having some trouble keeping up. I think it is the way I try to explain it to her that keeps her from catching on. Is there a website with a good, plain english, laymen's explanation.

What is a parent to do when the new, girls middle school soccer coach takes the team from 3 undefeated seasons, to 2-16, and out scored 65-8 and refuses to change his set up of 1-2-1-3-3. A dimond defense? These kids are in middle school. Putting the entire defense on one girl has not and does not work. These girls are getting slaughtered by the other better coached teams. We have the skills, our girls have the heart, what a shame for this sport.
Tried the co-curicullar director and the Principal (he comes from England, would think he would have been a help to the girls), but they support this coach-
For one who loves this sport and has coached these kids from 3rd to 6th grade, it hurts to see them lose merely because they have a inept coach.
What is a parent/taxpayer to do?

I'm not asking this to be a smarta**, I'm just wondering since he is so old now, is he more of a figurehead, while the younger assistant coaches call the plays?

I never see him with headphones or a clipboard, so I'm wondering if he is actually calling plays and being "in charge?" Thanks.
