I'd have to agree. Either Jack Lambert or Lawrence Taylor.

Lawrence Taylor - He was the first to redefine the position into what it is today. The second name - face that pops out is Nose Tackle Randy white when he played a couple downs at Middle Linebacker against the Skins to stop John Riggins in his hey day.

AJ Hawk. He was first in my head. Only because there was so much hype last year being picked #5 out of Ohio State. He's ok, might be pretty good. Definately not a great one yet. Besides, how can you get that long hair out of your head. ARG! Someone help! Get some scissors!

For me it's not just one person, but a group... USC's linebackers this year are the best I have ever seen at that level, and they just keep looking better. They will all go in the first round of the draft, and probably start as rookies. And I know you probably weren't looking for college players, but thats what I thought of, and I'm not even a USC fan, I actually like UCLA.

The housekeeping boss where I work. Shes like freaking huge, and already looks manly as it is. And she cut her hair as short as a guy. She beats her husband up and hes a marine lol. Everytime we see her, we say....theres Susan, linebacker for the Bears!
Football terms though... I think of Jonathan Vilma
