I know it's hard to get info on unlicensed boxers but I'm trying to find a pic of a boxer who fought in Islington (York something I think) around 1980. Apparently he fought people like Tommy Thomas, Chris Farr, Jimmy Hodges and few others. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?

he passed away not because they lost.....may be because of the loss against Ireland. ... small teams r giving huge shocks to all big teams.....India got one against Bangladesh.

I've wondered this for a while. In high school and college basketball, there's a possession arrow to determine who gets the ball on a tieup so they don't need to do a jump ball. How is it determined who has the possession arrow at a given time?

Im confused with a bunch of stuff with hockey

one thing is, whats offsides?

next is, icing, is icing when you pass it to the other side when no ones there, im a tad confused on that.

lastly, I know what a +/- is, but does it really show a good defensive player??

I just joined a baseball team and it is my first time playing.
I knew for the fact that my throwing and catching are very off.
I practice as hard as I can , but my coach put me in as an outfielder instead of teaching me how to be a pitcher , I just don't have it in my heart to be an outfielder and he knows this. There is a game today but I haven't got enough time to practice and I'm not that experienced. I don't want to bring down a 1st division team with my pathetic excuse for skills , I want to practice more but this game came up. I don't have the confidence right now, My coach keeps on telling me that he will work on me one on one but he never does.
I don't even know why I loved the game so much in the first place .

I watched the Dallas Stars guy got knocked out last night and wheeled off in a stretcher... Then I saw a Columbus Blue Jacket break some ribs when he got slammed into the boards... then another Blue Jacket went to beat up the guy who slammed the other BJ into the board... and that BJ got penalized for 19 minutes... shouldn't the guy who really injures someone get a longer penalty than the guy who stands up for his injured teammate? I love hockey and I love hitting, but don't they need to control it a bit more??
