Toronto would have to be just because they are in Canada they think they are great and the same goes for the Canadians yes they have the most cups but what have they done lately you say the wings are cocky but we have won 3 cups in9 years won the central division 15 straight years won the president trophy at least 4 time this year will be the 5th won the west countless times and have to greatest caption ever along with have a array of hall of fame players for us and don't get me wrong we are cocky but the definition of ********* is never doing something and saying you can or you did/'/

1- Toronto Maple Leafs. well you have the Leafs because every year the fans say the same thing this is are year, and they'll argue with you till the end of the year when there team loses. and then they'll blame the ref's or its cause of to many injuries. they also claim to be the most loyal fans there only reason is cause they haven't won the CUP in 40 years. and most of the first rows are empty seats cause there owned by cooperate businesses and they don't show up till the second period then they leave in the 3rd.

2- Buffalo Sabres. yes there having a great year, but know there getting really cocky and i seriously don't think they'll win the cup, and this team will lose allot of players next year through free agency. they barely sold out last year and now they are but when your talking who has the most loyal fans the Sabres fan will say they do cause they've been sold out half of this year but wear where the Sabres fans the last 20 years, you tell me.

im a die hard Montreal Canadiens fan, and we as fans are very tough on are team and players. yes we have struggled since Roy left the Habs but we just can't seem to get ahead of things. one thing really hurt is the salary over the year sky rocketing and one thing for sure Montreal is not going to pay some players that are only worth $1 million and asking $3 or $4 million thats not the way they work and thats also another big reason for are bad times. and the thing is is some teams will pay a player 4 times what hes really worth and the owners need to stop that. the owners are the ones that gave the big contracts to the players and now are complaining about there salary and now we have a salary cap which the owners wanted cause of there own faults. and the only time on hear when i see someone say the Habs won 24 cup's is because someone asked which team has won the most and thats when you get your answer. there not being cocky there just answering a question thats all. theyve one a Stanley cup in every decade and they still have till 2010.

westernf…>>>>>the only reason they where givin the name hockeytown is cause its americas team. but if you asked anyone in the world about the NHL they will know who the Canadiens are. don't be so stupid saying the Habs or Flyers tried for that name. the Habs are 16 years older then the Red Wings.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

First Off I need to defend "Hockeytown" and say that many others have tried to claim themselves Hockeytown, like the flyers or Montreal, but the name never really stuck because they don't win every year like the Red Wings. They are without a doubt the Yankee's of Hockey and hence deserve the name Hockeytown.

However, The ******** fans without a doubt are the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The New York Rangers! They have been around for ever and just don't win! They try to buy a team and still can't win! Half the people that go to the games are in suits and know nothing about hockey!
A close second are the Devils! There fans that are in there late 30s and early 40s swear they are true hockey fans, but say they have been Devils fans all there life??? Plus you have to love when 3000 people show for a playoff game!

to the person who said Detroit fans were in the USA and didn't know anything about hockey, just what are you basing this on?

maybe you should do some research. Here in Michigan we have a season called winter, just like Canada where the ice freezes and in neighborhoods all across the state kids play pond hockey. I know I did growing up. Michigan mirrors Canada when it comes to our love for the game. Maybe take your comments out on fans of Carolina. Now those guys don't know hockey.

As a Toronto Fan, i can admit, we do get pretty cocky about nothing....we haven't won in 40 years...and it may be another 40...but one thing is for sure, we will be fans every day for the rest of our lives....Sabres fans apparently just re-appeared last season....didn't hear too much from them before when they weren't doing well...seem to be fair-weather fans...not Leaf fans...we'll stick with out guys through all their lows...and there are tons lol, but we don't give up...call it cocky, maybe it is, i think its loyal...we like our team, we like our hockey, and we, mroe than likely, hate your team as much as you hate us lol.

This year it seems to be Buffalo. Every forum you go to dealing with hockey, there is always a cocky Buffalo fan. Yah, they're good, and they had a great start, but I don't think theyre good enough to win the cup.

This definitely comes down to 2 teams-The Leafs who remain cocky even though they stink or the Habs, because they always like to revert to how many cups they have. I would say Toronto because people from there think that they are the center of the universe.

Any sport in Philly would win this hands down--home of the only football stadium in the world with its own courtroom to mete out judgement on the spot for the drunken, obnoxious, eternally angered denizens of the City of Brotherly love(?)
