People always complain that the Devils are bad for hockey. Why? Because they don't fall into the Bettman mind-set of 7-5 hockey games throughout the season? Because they believe in a defense-first approach? Because they are perennial contenders?

Honestly, I don't get it. The Devils contend year-in, year-out, and even without Stevens, Neidermayer, and Daneyko on defense, Marty is still playing his best hockey ever.

Ok well im a Bruins fan born in raised in Boston, so naturally I hate the canadians. The two have always been rivals I know its nothing like what it was before, but even today whenever they play its an intense, rough and tough game everyone plays with such passion and the fans go nuts whether its in Montreal or Boston. There is such a rich history of hatred between these two teams. So out of all the big rivalries in hockey do you consider this to be the best?

I just got out of high school and was wondering how I could present myself as a football player. I want to play for the college I plan on going to this year or next (My mother is ill).

I'm 6'0 and weigh 240 pounds. I didnt get the chance to play in high school but I know football like the back of my hand. I know plays, I know schemes, and I'm currently working out everyday. I did play football in Middle School (Junior High). I was a Defensive End, but now Im thinking I'm to heavy for that.

What should I do? I know its hard to become a walk on at college and even harder to get in the CFL or AFL.

Much appreciated

JP

For me its Tom Pryce. He was a flat out, great driver. He was a driver for a mid-pack kind of team, Shadow F1. He supposedly had an offer from Lotus to come drive for them, but turned it down. Very loyal if you ask me. In 1975, at the race of champions at Brands Hatch, he beat the likes of James Hunt, Jody Schecktor, Niki Lauda, etc. Again, with inferior equipment. He was a very quiet guy, which compared to alot of the drivers of that era is pretty unique. Also, he was from Wales. I believe besides him the only other driver to come from wales was alan rees. But Tom was the better of the two for sure. I myself am an american, and by all counts should have picked mario andretti, but i think If Tom Pryce would have not been killed in 1977, he would have won a few championships at least. He was only 27 when he died in a freak accident at Kyalami, South Africa. RIP Tom Pryce!

Say a prayer for that young man Burgos. Another example of why boxing gets a bad wrap. Referee John Schorle handled the situation badly. Asking the corner/Burgos at the end of tenth if he wanted to continue when Burgos was taking a battering and had no shot to win the fight except by a stroke of luck. You don't ask the corner or especially a fighter if he wants to continue. You think the fighter is going to say "no I've had enough". Any one who's gotten in their and mixed it up before knows any fighter who's worth his salt whether hurt or not is going to say "hell yes I can go" . Schorle was in charge and he calls the shots in there. Any ref who doesn't think his ultimate responsibility is the SAFETY of the fighter should not be allowed to referee again. Agree or disagree? Another black eye for the great sport of boxing.

I was wondering what are some good ways to practice golf in you'r backyard prferably without spending tons of money, please. I don't have that big of a yard, I also live in a decently busy neighborhood so I dont want to hit a car or a home. Basically put, what are some safe and fun ways to practice golf in my backyard? I would like ideas that include woods, irons, wedges, and putter. If you could list a (few) websites that have products that I could purchase to use please do so.
Thanks for all the help,
TigerWoodsFan.
