Juan left because he wanted to go racing again. Most NASCAR/ racing fans watch the sport for the
racing. People like you watch for the accidents.

I will guarantee You that Montoya, didn't leave F1, for the money. He went to NASCAR for the competition. He's not making nearly the money that He did in F1. unless You have ever watched a NASCAR race, You wouldn't understand the attraction. forget the crashes, racing side by side, four wide four deep, rubbing tires and, fenders, just inches apart. now that's racing not, following each other around single file, hoping someone spins so, You can pick up a position. We had F1, when I was in school but, We called it a Fire Drill.

Thank you Kaotik...you just said what I was about to say...

But anyway, I tried to watch F1 and get into it...but when I did, it was when everybody was racing for 3rd place because they knew that Ferrari would finish 1-2 every week. Even then, my driver was Juan Montoya...I feel it is a good career move for him because his style and aggressiveness is more suited to the more solidly built stock cars.

As for stock car racing itself, when was the last time an F1 race was decided by a quarter-carlength while the field was piling up behind the two frontrunners, all wanting that checkered flag? I rest my case.

It's not excited, it's exciting. There is a lot more to NASCAR than going around in circles. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Car set up, pit strategy, team work... If you don't like it, don't watch it. As for the crashes, I don't watch the race just for them, but once in a while a little tap of the wall shakes things up a bit.

Of all things you men ought to know about Nascar. It's not just the race, its what goes on in the garages and all week before a race. If Nascar is not a sport, then why does Yahoo list it as a sport and why are you posting questions in this asking about Nascar? Go Figure.

Will you NASCAR haters leave the NASCAR fans alone in their forum? You make yourselves look arrogant and stupid by asking this over and over and bashing NASCAR for no other reason than boredom.

Thank you.

Real racing is the .020 second victory Harvick had at Daytona. You don't see that kind of finish in F1.

Nascar is a sport. Bottom Line. You have your own opinion and we have our own. I personally dont see the point in watching F1, IRL, or some of hte other racing series, but I am a huge NASCAR fan, and proudly admit that, and i hate the sterotype that NASCAR fans are all hicks, rednecks, hillbillies, poor, uneducated, and everything else they are assosciated with as its not cool. I think its stupid that people stereotype all sorts of people just based on a sport. Its an amazing sport, so why not just leave the fans alone who like it and stop causing problems for the other fans?

hey there stud, just take a look at the link i provided.JPM did not leave F1 because the money is better in nascar.it is all in writing.

the exciting thing fo rme about nascar is the close quarter racing.there are 43 cars running within seconds of each other.
in F1 there are 17 cars running within 5 min of each other.where is the racing in that?

no jpm left formula 1 because of polotics within the sport
he left because he was tired of being stacked up behind kimi on yellow flag pit stops, not to mention being bad mouthed publicly by his "team" for the injury he got playing tennis he left because rubens was told to let michael by, and he left becaufe fisi was told for the last half of the season your not to battle for the lead but instead you need to block traffic so alonso can get a good lead, but all that said id still rather watch f1 over nascar

Nacrap sucks. it's Not a sport other than people driving in circles. Back when nascar was first created they used Real Cars and of which they've "evolved" (yeah right) away from to the clone cars like fomrula one. I guarentee that in a head to head race on the track, formula one would whip it hands down. It does come down to driver skill but with drivers that can't make any other turns than left, nascar will lose on the first right turn of any type on the track. Nascar fans need to get real and stop living in fantasy land and get with the program. if nascar was more interesting and wasn't some obsolete piece of crap from the 1970's with the technology from back then.. then perhaps it just might get a small iota of respect from the rest of the world and the fans of True motorsport.
