Our school has 4 regular hard courts inside a chain link fence compound, that is open year round. The problem is that snow drifts inside the courts, and takes a while to melt when we could be out practicing for our upcoming season. Usually we end up scraping off the ice and then using brushes to sponge up the excess water. We were wondering, would using salt to melt the ice hurt the tennis playing surface?
